Natural or Artificial Flowers?

In a world of artificiality, in which high building replaced the small and garden surrounded houses, we choose to refresh it by bringing into pieces of nature: the fresh air, the delicacy by natural colors, the sensuousness by flavor. Therefore, if someone asks me, I prefer the natural flower. Its a fact that the flowers are the universal symbol of love and love means feeling, living, so we cant associate love with artificial flowers.

Long ago, the flowers were appreciated for their elegance, flavor, color and the special bouquet, the crowns, the flower garlands took the most important place into a ritual or a ceremony.

Also the flower arrangement appeared in Japan and it was a nature imitation, with themes like the seasons, the wind, the storm, the nativity, the flower’s garden and the flower designers used only the natural flowers with their natural form, height, because they used to think that an ikebana arrangement, beside the happiness for seeing it, it induce a special meditative state. And the Japanese philosophy says that the flowers are beautiful just because they are passing. This Japanese flower arrangement is called Ikebana and it means to make the flower living in water.

I love too the natural flowers. The artificial flowers have their importance, their beauty, especially if we put them in a sophisticated arrangement. But where is the emotion? The natural flowers have the special gift to influence our frame of mind. The flowers have a message, their flavor, shape and aspect mean something. They could say: I love you, I miss you, Forgive me, Thank you etc. Only the natural flowers bring the freshness into your space.

And if we talk about the wedding flowers or bride bouquet, it has to be made by natural flowers, even if they are tulips, roses, freesia or lilies. The natural flowers have the passion, the purity, the gentleness that are appropriate to the most important moment in a girls life. The bouquet has to complete the bride and to spread the same sense and air. It keeps only a few days, but it is full of emotion and freshness.
